Ha! Possibly. I’m happier with my glass half full. On a serious note, I’m pretty confident that MM and Bond are poles apart. Bond may be a nice guy but he was a catastrophic manager, unfortunately. MM isn’t, and I do honestly believe we should stick with him because he will eventually come good (if Ron can stop hobbling him).

Genuine question , what has MM done that makes him better than Bond , don’t get me wrong Bond was a wet lettuce but I don’t see much difference and their records speak volumes

Relegation to NL must be avoided at all costs, we’d disappear into oblivion. It won’t be like Leyton Orient who only spent a season or two down there, we’d sink into mid table and stay there for many years.

Ron is the main problem, but he cannot be dislodged, so there’s just no point in bemoaning his ownership. For me, it goes beyond the team MM has inherited. His team have almost no quality going forward. Poor decisions being made almost in every attack, bizarre substitutions and playing Olayinka on the wing today was criminal in my opinion.

we have 4/5 games coming up against teams around us at the bottom, and I think we have the ability in the team to beat those teams. If we don’t, I’m sorry but it’s goodnight Vienna as far as I’m concerned.

Orient struggled the first season they went down it was only when the late Justin Edinburgh took over they pulled away from the relegation zone. The following season they got promotion.

I’m so frustrated by the lack of quality and ability to create chances , in my 30 years of following the blues I’ve never known it so bad , even the likes of Bramble , Rawle , Constantine , Abbey , Belgrade, Jay Smith had the ability to excite at times .

I rated jay smith tbh. And mark rawle was like pele compared to this squad...

I agree though. Not much to cheer or get excited about, footballs supposed to be an entertainment industry....

Interesting really, they both started trying to play tippy tappy samba football out of defence. They both have bad records, and they both were of the same mindset that it needed many transfer windows to change things.

One was out in a flash, one we might stick with till its all over.

And probably both came at the recommendation of Harry.

Our form and results are massively dependant on the embargo being lifted.

Whilst the embargo is still in place Molesley’s hands are tied. Sack him and the new manager has the same issue!

If and when it gets lifted and he has a full strength team and new signings and results don’t pick up then yes call for his head.

As previous have said this isn’t Molesley’s fault it’s Ron Martin’s.

oh well .. why anyone would give this guy another week in charge is totallly beyond me ..

there must be some out of work manager who would give it a go....

I just can't see how any other manager would get results with the players currently available. Is someone going to come along and make Goodship into an EFL standard striker, is Egbri going to beat his marker, will Sterling suddenly look as if he is interested, will the new manager have any influence in lifting the embargo. I don't think there is anyone out there who could get today's lineup to win matches, who is going to score the goals needed?
MM has his hands tied completely, if the embargo is lifted and he can bring in some of his own signings then we should see a difference. If not then fair enough, his job should be on the line but at the moment the guy doesn't stand a chance.

He should have known all this before signing

maybe he did, youre assuming Ron was 100% open. MM might just be too professional to say anything publicly or scared, as we all need a job right now.
Definitely, but for all these people who claim MM is a visionary, a gem of a football mastermind who thinks deeply about the game and understands the sport at a level us peons don't understand...

Did the geezer not do his research on the club before he took the job and resigned from his two exceptionally secure jobs? Did he not notice the financial irregularities, the multiple embargoes (which prevented his Premier League winning predecessor from being able to sign any players?)

Did he not look at the current playing squad filled with ten game professional youngsters and past their-prime highly paid veterans?

Did he really think a chairman who didn't back SOL CAMPBELL in the transfer market (despite openly promising so in a public statement) by lifting the embargo would do so for him?

If he genuinely listened to Ron and believed a golden future with good signings and a new ground was around the corner, well, there's naivety and there's insanity - and here's a man who's both.

You may well be right, but accepting game over already seems mad to me and i dont know any other club that would.

He’s not going anywhere. RM can’t even afford to lift the embargo which has been the biggest priority all season without comparison; he’s certainly not going to pay off six members of staff.
Like it or lump it, MM will be here for some time to come.

Anyway, wouldn’t feel comfortable about him leaving before he’s even been allowed to register players who have been with us for months. Since when has our club been about hanging people out to dry? He’s in this mire just like we are thanks to one man (RM) so let’s support him for gawd’s sake. Imagine getting your first real job at a decent level and then not being allowed in any which way to do it. It’s not exactly like he can retire if this all goes pear-shaped for him. Sure, he’s not immune from criticism and he may not be the Messiah (I hoped we’d be 4 or 5 points better off by now) but a little less animosity would be nice!

He couldnt lift the embargo before but still got rid of sol and his expensive entourage.

I’d imagine our finances are even worse now after the last few months but who knows.
I’d be shocked if he chose to spend the little money he has on sacking MM and his staff

I do agree. Although historically ron does seem to have the ability to pull a million out of his bunghole.

I guess whether your mm in or out. The buck stops with the chairman.
