First time to this stadium - I think I'm still trying to warm up following the trip up there to the hockey stadium!

Temperature was just as cold when we went there in Dec 2008, few days before our cup game at Chelsea. No pubs near ground (wasn't back then), we found one on the Ind Estate about 15 mins walk away.

It's not my place to tell anyone else how they should feel or not to go, but the normalisation and gradual increase in acceptance of Franchise FC really saddens me. It must be exactly what Winkelman and co. were banking on - ride out a bit of early opprobrium and then after a decade or so we're in the clear, theft of a football club and shafting of a community vindicated.

To see AFC Wimbledon looking down on them in the table is priceless. Hopefully it remains the case aided by a couple of thumping head-to-head wins for the true Dons. Ideally they might even be separated by a division or two next year.

I don't think that's the case.

Give them hell from the stands both home and away.

Don't stop supporting your own team. That's far worse.

Not going to the game won't achieve anything unfortunately. Nobody is going to bat an eyelid if a few Southend fans don't turn up to MK Dons away. They Football League aren't going to suddenly change their mind and kick them out the Football League if less away fans turn up.

I respect and understand why people would chose not to go but I feel supporting the team is more important in this case as Franchise FC are going to go on as they are with or without my £12 as much as I resent that.

I don't think for a moment that it'll make a difference, and if they didn't care what people thought 12 years ago they certainly won't now. It's a personal choice, nothing more or less, not to recognise stealing a football club and all it means to its supporters as a legitimate alternative to gaining promotion through the tiers. AFC Wimbledon have taken the latter route and it cheers me to see a little bit of justice done, at least for a little while. I wish them nothing but the best when they're not playing us.

Away games have been a nightmare for me this season.

Haven't been able to go to any games this season due to work or family commitments. This weekend and more family commitments.

I really hope we stick to the same team formation and attacking intent.

It's been shown that when we attack teams and go at them we are a much better proposition.

I'd rather burn out than fade away.

Should be a 1000+ plus blues and if we can get three points it sets us up nicely for a big home game and a resurgence in form.

Neil Young rules OK.

Ah that makes sense. Any chance that we'll fill our away allocation? I don't want to arrive and find there aren't any tickets left.

I think the away end can accommodate something like 8k if needed. I think we will be fine.

They average around 8k at home. There are generally over 20k empty seats every week.

Three of us are heading up there tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it, I've spoken to SUFC and you can purchase on the day with cash only, running out of tickets won't be a problem.

They (the crowd control people) at the football ground will probably still try to cram everyone into only a part of the space. And I find that very annoying.

At a game at Crewe a few years ago we (Southend fans) were told we couldn't sit further along because of "health and safety" ............. a few more fans turn up and suddenly the whole area is opened up and is no longer a threat to our "health and safety".

How does that work then?

When any jobsworth says "Health & Safety" always ask them exactly what act and section they are referring to. Of course, they will not know as they haven't got a clue. It shuts them up though.

I am going to contradict myself now (nothing new there then).

I don't have an issue with any particular steward - they turn up for a couple of hours, get a small payment and off they go. It is those that make the decision to cram people into a small space that I would like to talk to.

I don't want to sit/stand next to some idiot who has had 2 halves of lager and is only able to swear at the officials and be obnoxious ......... please give us some more room and we can all move away from these pratts.

Our bogey team along with Morecambe.

We played very well on Tuesday, let's hope Phil keeps it going with the system...
