Minutes silence on sat

the silence was deafening. made the hair's on the back of my neck stand up. there were kids in the south lower who started laughing which i thought was disgusting. surely the parents can control them? they may be kids but i know my kids would never dare do it. too much respect.

That was the kids doing the boring penalties at half time

Wonder if he would stay silent if it was for Peter Clarke? ;)

Regardless of my views on an individual I'd have the common decency to stay quiet for a minute's silence and I find it pretty insulting to suggest otherwise. I'd even refrain from booing during one for Ldnfatso.

As you seem to be getting all high and mighty about it, I should point out that the kids in question were originally silent until someones mobile went off with a ridiculous ringtone. Then, 11 year old girls being what they are, they started to giggle. The parents then told them to shut up which they duly did.

A mobile phone will always go off during a minutes silence. Coincidence me thinks not.. Shame

Actually I think you'll find the chances are pretty high. In fact I reckon you're more likely to get around 10 every minute in a crowd of 7,000 (based on everyone getting an average of 1 call a day).
