Those that did not train today.... Hurst, Hunt, McLaughlin, Coker and guess what someone who would have started on Saturday has picked up an injury. Expect lots of changes

Travelling down from North Wales for Millwall game but meeting friends in Lewisham en route to the game. Any tips for best route through from M1, to get to Lewisham, is Blackwall tunnel best or is there a more direct route across river?

It's interesting to see that 2 of the 5 top strikers in the league are midfielders! ( with 5 and 4 goals respectively ) Our midfielders have contributed one miserable goal between them. We have not been to consistent yet, as in some games we create numerous chances, which we fail to score and in others barely a shot at goal.. Hopefully Wordsworth will continue to improve and get a bit more forward and luckier. Fingers crossed for today
I still think we should be looking to bring at least 1 more forward in pronto as we have half of the strikers of practically every other team in the league. If limited upfront by numbers alone and injuries, we need our midfield to compete more strongly than they have done up til now and start to find the target

If Coker doesn't play then Prosser could be left back as hinted by PB. With McLaughlin out there would be a lack of width down the left therefore Weston could well be picked to play.

If Luke does get the nod I hope he gets told not to crab backwards, and inside, into the pen box;-something he is especially prone to doing from LB. How he plays alongside Adam will be "interesting".
If Westie plays he must be told to take on, run at, his defender; he may lose possession (don't get on his back folks, please), often, BUT the threat and the successful beating and cross are/should be his game & give us chances.
If Wordy (or Len) doesn't put 100% in then sub him with Deegs who may not be pretty but will work.
UTB!

I think it could have been O'Neil at Right back and John white at left back, but with White struggling ( fitness) I'll go for

Bentley

O'Neil Rea Barrett Prosser

Weston Leonard Deegan Timlin Worrall

Mooney

If Bolger is fit he may start at the expense of Rea. Can O'Neil play at left back ?

Subs Bolger, Wordsworth, Pigott, Payne and Smith

Gutted to be missing this.

I think there will be changes, and the excuse to bring two of his favourites back in to the starting line up. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see this:

Bentley

White, Bolger, Barrett, Prosser/O'Neill (if he can play there)

Worrall, Leonard, Timlin, Atkinson, Weston

Mooney

Millwall will be confident after their excellent away win in their last game , but given that they haven't won at home , I think they will be nervous and there is a fair chance the crowd will become restless if we can stifle them early on.
I'm all for entertaining , but an 'ugly' win will do today.
Frustrate them first half and then try to nick a goal.

Agreed, never felt he was as bad as was made out last match, and been one of our most consistent players throughout his time with us.

He did give the ball away and put us under pressure a couple of times, however with no one in front of him he had no one to pass to hence he dwelled on it too long.

He should still not have got tackled but his only option would have been to hoof it which he would have got slated for too like White did.

He will be missed though, lets hope ONeil lasts longer than last time!

Take it it's a 4-4-2 with Timlin on the left?

Timlin isn't a left winger Brown!

Timlin has played as a left sided midfielder plenty of times even under Sturrock. Even Tilson used to play with 3 central midfielders and one winger.

Last Saturday was a problem because they played a 5 man midfield so he got pulled into the middle far more than normal, he certainly needs to make sure that doesnt happen so much.

Doesn't mean that's his best position though. I think he's much better centre mid personally. Would play Weston ahead of him on the left.

Timmy should be playing in the centre where he is most effective and one of our best players IMO.

Anyway come on you Shrimpers!
