I don't think anyone was arguing that Sankofa is better than Francis rather that Francis was playing with his head up his arse and Sankofa was part of a defence that was playing well as a unit.

I think Mildy's alright, but it's a reasonable enough argument. I'll add a poll.

Wiggy - this is a fair question. although I would be happier seeing a thread entitled ' XXXX was great last night followed by some positive statements about the said player. I don't understand why you foccus so much on the negative all the time and only seem to post if we loose, but anyway

would I like a better keeper- yes I would.
Will he cost us games- Of course he will- he is a keeper !- buts lets try and remember when he saves us as well

So taking your argument, what has Collis, Francis Sankofa, Revell & Emberson got to do with it? And by the way it may have escaped that powerful organism lurking between your ears but Wignall signed Emberson and Tilly showed him the door.

IMO Flavs is/was a better keeper.....Mildy lacks any confidence in the box and for a big man obviously has trouble getting down to the ground shots. We have let in 7 goals already in 5 games.He is worse than Flavs for coming out for crosses...and his kicking is pants.

I'm used to it Grays. It takes most of the rose tinted mob on here at least 5 months to see what people with a football brain see in 3 weeks as with the Sankofa/Francis argument, where are they now? Mildy is not a good keeper for his size and his lack of commitment and agility is worrying but theyv'e all got there wish with a tall bloke that can't get down, laughable!

no one is disputing that Flavs was a good keeper, I mean bobby charlton was a great player for man utd, but like falvs, he no longer plays for the same team anymore.

Mildy has got his faults, but I genuiely believe he loves the club. Barrett is a faily limited defender, but he gives us 100% and also loves the club, and quite rightly he gets the support he deserves.

We are a 3 division team, majority of our players have 3rd division ability, this is right and a fact of life. Would I love Van da Saar or Reina playing for us, yes of course, but that is not going to happen. Is Mildy the best keeper in league, no , however is he the worst, no !

I dont wear rose tinted glasses, do I always cheer and applaud during the game, no ( I always do at the end), but I realise that Mildy will be our goal keeper , much improved as well, as someone correctly pointed out , for remainder of the season.

Not surew what my post is saying here, apart from trying to get us all united behind the players, playing for club we love.
