Tilson won't want to rock the boat too much, yet after this home match (which to be honest is one we should win if we want to be mid table) we have 2 potentially tough away games. So he won't want to be too defensive IMHO.
Defensively, I think it will be Flahavan, Jupp, Barrett, Prior and Wilson. Griemink on the bench.
The midfield is the most difficult area with so many contenders. Because of the need to attack, I think he will have Gower and Cole wide, with Maher and Bentley in the middle. Guttridge will be amazingly unlucky bearing in mind his pre-season, but I seriously believe that he will have to wait on the bench for his turn. If any midfielder doesn't perform, he can slot into their place. I don't think Jay Smith will be on the bench just yet. My feeling is that Tilly will want to give him 2 or 3 full games in the reserves to test his fitness. Pettefer will be on the bench however. He hasn't had a full pre-season and I don't believe will start the match on Saturday; however, I think he will definitely start against both Bradford and Walsall away.
Up front picks itself; Eastwood and Gray. There is no striker substitute though and I don't think Lawson will be on the bench. I think he will look at either Gower, Guttridge or Bentley as emergency strikers if the need arises and therefore this means the 4th and 5th sub spots will go to Edwards and Hunt, although if we sign anyone else (i.e. Joksic) then I'd expect him in there at Eagles expense.
