Middle Names to remember or forget?

One of the funniest was a kid at school who had what must had a family name as his middle name. The cruel bar steward teachers made a point of reading out our full names for the register, just to take the pee.

The name? Moffett!! To make matters worse, there was a pedigree chum advert where the owner of the dog would shout, Moffett, here Moffett. Needless to say the kid in question, heard that for quite some time afterwards!! Poor sod!

BTW, mine is David!

Neither I or my sibling have a middle name. They are, after all, totally useless.

There's nothing to stop anyone changing their name either by deed poll or h=just making it known "Call me Eric" or whatever chosen.

A bit like censorship old chap.

I like middle names - they usually give a nod to someone from the past and as we're gone a long time...why not?

I have two middle names. Ian and James, I don't mind them as they could be better or worse. It does mean that my initials can be DIC!
