Men and Women behaviours

Not at all .. it just means your tearducts are controlled by the same muscles as your bladder :cricko: :finger:

No I always have ,Sleepless in Seattle ..starts me right off...or An affair to Remember, which are kinda the same films.

Personally I dont have a problem with men who are football fans showing emotion as I know how important that is to a man. Although if I was watching a bit of a sad film with a bf and he started blubbering then I would be out of there faster than Forest Gump. I am not one of those women who thinks that men need to be in touch with their femine side! A little compassion and perhaps a lump in the throat is acceptable but anything more is surely seen as strange?!
Really... are you a hard person then? You see it as strange that men can blubb? Wait until you have your legs in the styrups waiting to give birth then because your other half is gonna blubb....big time! Beleive me when I say this. Blubbing does not come naturally to me but thare are times when one gets caught up in the emotional state that exists around them. How many times do you listen to a certain song that reminds you of something sad or a particular time in your life that was not going so well, do feel any sort of emotion then. Do you see any man that cries or blubs as weak?

I wouldn't go advertising the fact that your are a big girls blouse around here mate .. some people can be so cruel :whistling:

Now that is odd...for years women have wanted equality in men ..and to be on the same level, now they mostly are..in fact in a lot of ways they have taken control....I have nothing against equal so if men show there feelings so what....I don't get this you can't be a man and cry or show emotions.

I believe that it's just Tom Hanks films that make men cry

Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Green Mile, Turner and Hooch...

We just cannot win either way! You women moan about us not being in touch with our sensitive side, and you just throw it back in our faces....Typical! Besides, I am ok with 99% of the film, its just the bit when he visits "Jenneys grave" I just start filling up!

To be fair, Forrest Gump is one of the few films it is reasonable for a man to cry in. There defintiely isn't much of a correlation between films men cry for and those women do.

No of course I dont think a man is weak for blubbing lol. Things like seeing your child born etc are mroe than worthy of a few tears. I just think a man blubbering at a sad film would make me uncomfortbale thats all....

Then maybe that is more about you than him Sam..

It's definitely Ok for Men to cry at certain points... I'm pretty sure that if I watched Southend win the Champions League there'd be tears of joy. I cried when I split with my ex and have seen a mate of mine who's 6'4 15 stone of Muscle cry like a girl after splitting with his girlfriend, doesn't make him any less of a man in my eyes.

Stuff like Sex in the City though i'll just never understand. Me and one of my flatmates this year lived with a few lesbians last year and they used to all sit and watch The L Word like it was their bible... I just couldn't understand how they could relate so closely to a TV series/Film. Don't get me wrong, there are films I relate to, but not as much so that I try to live like the people in the film...

Explains a lot that - being that Darryl is such a fan of Pogles Wood.

Indeed. I can only imagine Tommy Black spent this season watching documentaries about Madeline McCann, what with him spending most of the season vanishing into thin air and remaining lost.

The remaider of the midfield and the back four have refused to take part in a re-enactment of the play-off semi-final first leg.
