Big Bad Barry Corr

First XI⭐
Not seen much publicity about this years event? Nothing much on the site nor here on Shrimperzone. Do we have any idea what time the signing takes place or event times for the day?

There's a good crowd here. Long queue for signatures. Phil's doing his best to pose for the cameras even though he hates it . . . Not.

Apart from the Legends game and the players walking around as the queue for autographs was so long, it was a pretty pants afternoon. Not a lot going on. That and the DJ playing a tune that had the N word in 3 times

Well, I enjoyed it! My nephew got all the players autographs, watched a bit of training, paid £15 for 3 burgers and 3 drinks what more could you ask for, and it didn't rain!

3 things;
Spoke to Coker, reckons he's fit for Saturday
Coxy looks in serious shape !
And Lenny didn't look very happy?

Oh and one more; PB is more dark mahogany than orange...

According to some on here you are not allowed to blaspheme about lenny not looking very happy:thumbsup:

My mate said that Lenny had a face like a slapped arse all afternoon. Should we have taken the money?

He was perfectly fine when I spoke to him and was fine with supporters, smiling for photos and for fans. He did look a bit out of sorts but that's all, I should imagine he's got a lot going on in his head right now, but he was still there, taking full part in training and interacting with fans, both in the tent and once we sent them off down the line.

It was a good afternoon, the weather stayed fine, we tried to make the autographs run a bit more smoothly and quickly this year, which I think worked well. The legends match was entertaining with Juppy, Tilly and Benno looking no different to when they played!

My kids had a great time. All the players were really good with them too with autographs and photos all around. In particular timlin, Cox and Ted smith were great. We live in Billericay so the kids go to school with a bunch of premier league fans. Meeting the players like today gives them a little something else that the other kids don't get.

You can't knock that, that pretty good value compared to other park events.
