McCormack or Moussa

Macca or the Moooooooooooose

Great performance by Moussa on Tuesday but its an away game and think we need McCormacks bite back in the middle for that one.

Hopefully a couple of games on the sideline will have given him a boost.

Defo Macca. The Moose i think is still a bit lightweight. He is technically sound but can be shoved off the ball too easily. He needs to muscle up a bit.

I thought Bailey picked up his 10th booking of the season against Forest handing him a 2 match ban aswell. Obviously not so how many does Bailey need to pick up a ban.

Moussa for me, he's done enough the last two games to retain his place in the same way Macca was keeping out Maher. See how he goes, bring Macca on when necessary and then re-assess for Swansea when I think Macca will be the preferred option.

People seem to foget that macca was not great in the games leading up to his ban - if he is in on sat and plays like he was everyone will slate tilly saying he should have left the moose in there. Bailey is one yellow away from a ban so macca can come back in then.

Mooooooooooooossssssssseeeeeee

I'm not a big Moussa fan although I was very impressed with him on tuesday. I think we may well end up seeing both of them on saturday with Tommy Black dropping to the bench.

Personally I'd put Grant on the right and bring Macca back in the middle. Not many teams would fancy playing against a midfield with McCormack, Bailey & Grant in it.

Mooooooooooooooooooooooos played well against forest.....but Macca must start in this one, Moooooooooooooooooooooos still one for the future and we must be careful not to heap too much pressure on the young lad, a tough trip oop north needs the dogs of war to growl and snap at the terriers

tough decision. would like moose to continue but if he doesn't it'll be bad to show the other members of the squad that even if they do well, they could still be dropped for somone else..

macca is proven though..
people will be moaning wither way

It has to be Moussa. You can't drop one of the best players in your last game, and Forest are - whether they played like it or not - one of the best sides in the division.

As has been said, Bailey will likely be banned soon, bring Macca back then.

Its got to be Moose. He is a devloping player and I believe will turn out to be one of our most valued players in the next few seasons. It is vital to his development that he is rewarded for his good performance by being handed the start in the next match. What kind of signal will he get if he is put on the bench after such a good consistent performance.

IMO, starting him Saturday will build his confidence which is paramount for a player in his current development stage. Build the foundations properly and he will be in much better stead for the future.

One of the toughest questions for a while...

Moussa has played reasonably well and showed signs of getting better all the time as he settled into the midfield.

Tilson does need to demonstrate that if you get your chance and don't blow it then you keep your spot.

Macca, on his day is an excellent ball-winning, play-making, spectacular goal-scoring, never-say-die, "come and have a go if you think your hard enough", midfielder.

Macca, hasn't been firing on all cylinders for a few matches since he got the 4th yellow.

Macca now has 5 more yellows before another ban.

fwiw: I'd give Moussa the start and bring Macca on for the last 20mins against Huddersfield and play Macca from the start against Swansea. More importantly I'd be considering how to fit Grant into my plans and persuade him that Roots Hall / Fossetts Farm would be a good place for him long term.

id go for macca, although moussa is a good young player, if we were to get promoted i feel that moussa would be easily exposed in many situations and just dont feel he would be good enough to hold down a regular place.
