This will no doubt be moved to All Leagues but Matt Tubbs has just signed for Bournemouth. Is that going to have a big effect on Crawley's promotion charge?

thought he would have gone up to the CCC. It wasn't that long ago that Bournemouth had massive financial issues, are they gambling on going up?

I know none of us want to say this, but Crawley are likely to be in League One next. His moved from a club where his scoring goals to a completely new setup. Not to name names but, Eastwood... (Ok, we were relegated)

I wonder how much Bournemouth had offered in wages and bonuses...

Hopefully Blackpool will refresh their interest in Barnett now. With his striking partner gone, that has to change his outlook on the club...

How good would that be?

Well, that's good news for us, Cheltenham, Shrewsbury and Swindon I would have thought. Has Bradders forgotten his remit to build an ex-Southend team though, Tubbs isn't an old boy!

Yes I thought at the begining of the season they were collecting in buckets to stay afloat week to week, and now they find £500,000. Even in instalments that is bizar. Great news for us now. Pretty sure we can almost write Creepy and the fat boy out of the equation now.

Their issues were a few years ago now, but Bournemouth were as bad off as us if not worse, how are they bidding 500,000 for a player ?

Still good news for us and a spanner in the works for Crawley.

Tubbs is a quality player. They've replaced him with Nouble from West Ham, who is good, and it sounds like Sanchez Watt played well for them on Saturday but Tubbs was a bit special and this has to be a blow for them (so is great news for us).

As for their finances, I think Bournemouth got taken over a while back or at least got some serious investment. They're doing well for cash.

A few weeks ago the Crawley Chairman was pleading for fans to start turning up at games, we said on here that it appeared to be making excuses before the event for selling, seems that was correct

Maybe he was just sick of having an absolute tosser for a manager. Jumped at the chance to go to the first club that had an offer accepted :P

Bournemouth are his local club, he'll be likely getting a big pay rise and they're building for a promotion push. It's not a glamourous move but I think you can see the attraction. He's not a kid - he's 27 so there'd only be a few Clubs willing to stump up the sort of cash that Crawley were looking for.

Plus I'm sure it's every player's dream to play with Adam Barrett.
