Just a little balance to you calling us classy for abusing a man who took the decision to drink drive and kill......you signed someone who done that.....classy Plymouth. Other than that not too bad.

Also far from making the North bank rock. Apart from the fat kid who had obviously eaten too many blue smarties and made a prat of himself , that was one of the poorest if not THE poorest sounding show from a thousand plus away following for years.

The man in the suit in your picture, with the injured Argyle player is Dr A.K.Sinha,the SUFC crowd doctor.By the way,I thought your match report was excellent, bar the classy comment about McCormick. There is no place for people such as he,in football.
All the best for the rest of the season.

when was the last time you took over a thousand to Plymouth?
How many Plymouth fans would there have been without the free travel?
To be fair I think you would still have had about 600 even without the free travel, which would still be a good turnout.

Lombard, thank you for the info on the doctor! I thought he was one of those "have you had an accident at work" type of fellas :hilarious:

I'm guessing the early goal probably muted them somewhat and the general poor play (couple of passes at the back and hoof to the front two) didn't really give them much to shout about throughout the rest of the game, especially after the season(s?) they've just had to endure. They also seemed a bit more lively than when we've had big-ish away followings from Orient and Colchester, decent numbers as well considering how far it is.

I think we all agree their numbers were impressive and they started off lively, but after about 5 minutes into the game they went quiet and we didn't really hear much from them after that. As kwakadal74 said, one of the poorer thousand-plus away followings we've seen but credit for taking that many in the first place.

I wouldn't blame them for the noise levels of the away fans personally, going 1-0 down after 15 minutes and with the performance their team put out there wasn't much to shout about.

Couple of minor pick ups in your report (should have/would have/could have - not "of") and one "is" instead of "his". Other than that a good write up, though it's funny, I thought Morgan and Reid were as guilty of what you're saying Prosser and Phillips were with the shirts. Alessandre was nothing but a big girl's blouse, a puff of wind would have knocked him over and requiring treatment! I did expect better of Plymouth to be honest, and if I'd made that journey, I'd have been pretty p'ed off too at the lack of commitment.

The 'foul' by Leonard was one of the most outrageous dives I've ever seen. I was amazed the guy didn't get booked to be honest. I didn't see a kick following it either, but then again I was looking at the play at the other end of the pitch by then so can't say whether it happened.

One of your players kept going down time and time again. The diving got a little embarrassing to be honest and I was surprised that he wasn't booked.

On another note, Argyle are definitely going to have to play better then what they did yesterday if they have any chance of having a good season. The team looked woeful, but I suppose that could be put down to them being a bit rusty for the first game of the season. On paper, the team doesn't look too bad, I'm just glad they didn't turn up yesterday!
