Mark Gower is a Genius

 Even i as a Gower critic had to get up to applaud the lad as on Saturday he worked his socks off and played really well. Very refreshing to see him back to some good form and just at the right time. Long may he continue to play like that!

I was very impressed with the G Man, he had a stormer, even Steve was impressed so he must have been good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :stunned:

;) ;) ;) ;)

Gower's ball to Mulgrew for the goal looked sublime from where I was sat. First time ball threaded between defenders and perfectly weighted.

He also chased down and then won the ball by the centre-circle to start that move too.

As Yorkshire Blue said, he's a confidence player. He'll try these things (like the ball through to Mulgrew for the goal on saturday) every week but if the crowd are on his back and his confidence is low they won't come off. I'd still rather have him try these things as opposed to going into hiding like some other players do when they are not playing well and he'd always be my first name on the teamsheet because when he's playing well there's not a better footballer in this division.
