Let's not all start after-timing and claiming that he should be here/playing etc. He's had some chances (not a consistent run) and he's not being scoring. Hopefully we'll bring him back from loan when he's fit, scoring and playing well.

Some of his misses have been unforgivable. I can understand them being explained by the fact that he's under pressure, not scoring, not getting many games and not getting many chances created - but even so he should have been putting away some of the chances I've seen him miss.

Good to see him scoring today, it'll be good to see it and hear how he's got on.

Exactamundo. There has been something fundamentally wrong with the way Brown has been setting is up all season. Give Barnard a run in a team where he has someone else up front with him and two natural wingers playing and putting in crosses, and he'll put away the chances that inevitably come his way.

Glad to see Worrall bag one though and maybe Lenny's goal will give him a boost!

But it's a chicken/egg argument - Brown is under pressure to get results and get them quick, and Barney is obviously not producing the goods (and his team mates are under-performing too). Brown hasn't got time to stick by Barney and hope he finds some form, which was the whole point in sending him away to get some consistent minutes and hope that Lee gave us a Loza-effect. Instead, Lee is injured but Weston and our midfield have apparently stepped up to the plate.

He's had two glaring misses that I can remember. Weston, Corr and especially Coulthirst have missed as many sitters, probably more, and all three of those had extended runs of starts and all the faith in the world from their manager
