Maher Back in Training

If he does come on as sub at Wembley and we win wouldn't he be the one to collect the Trophy as he is still club Captain.


It would be the same as when Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville both lifted the trophy when Man Utd won the league.

If he did come back i think him and Barrett would lift it.
 
As John Major famously said after the 1997 landslide for Labour -

"when the curtain falls, it is time to get off the stage"

And thats how I feel about Maher; the curtain has fallen (Or more precisely Bailey and Macca have grown) and now it is time for him to leave the Soutned United stage
 
King Kev was in attendance tonight at the supporters club player of the year night and looked happy to be so. Unlike the many players who slipped out as soon as it was over, even though it had been announced that all would stay for a while to sign autographs for those in attendance.
