Lostprophets - Last Summer
Velvet Revolver - Fall To Pieces
Anything by GLC!

(full album is up on NME.com to listen too - they've changed "21 Ounces" for the album and it sounds naff now. Guess they couldnt get the license for the sample)...

Plus Razorlight's last few songs have been good and I'm quite enjoying the Distillers (or is it Hole?

Music is great

Just bought Razorlight's album today and I think it's a 'grower' to tell you the truth. Goldentouch is fab and so is Vice and In the City but everything else has the distinct taste of songs that grow on you. I tend to find that albums such as this are ones that I like for longer than the day I bought them so it's all good. Am Loving the Lost Prophets and have made it my mission to hear something by Kasabian - have heard they are great.
Totally agree - there's some great bands around at the moment.

Too right.

That miserable sod Kurt Kobain killed the Baggy scene stone dead with his depressing grunge nonsense.

If he hadn't have shot himself then somebody with a bowlcut and a pair of 24" flares would have.

Mark my words.

I also think this album is very good. I bought it on impulse after just hearing one track. Im pleased with this one

I didnt find it a grower though, loved it automatically.

The Kasbian and Velvet Revolver have to grow on me tho. Not really impressed by them, for some reason.

"Somebody Told Me" is a great song, but every time I listen to it, I can't help but wonder what it's about.  Part of the chorus goes:

somebody told me
you have a boyfriend
that looks like a girlfriend
that I had...

I can't understand the rest, but these four lines are really strange

ALbum is pretty good so far (had it 3 days). "All these things I've done" is wicked and currenly on TV alot (MTV2, VH2, Kerrang etc) and there other single that was out a while back was "Mr Brightside" which is also very good...

The Libertines, The Libertines, The Libertines!!!!

Sorry to go on, but I can't believe any discussion on good new music hasn't mentioned this magnificent album.

I've told you lot already, go out and buy it!

If you are into to your soulfull R&B, have a listen to the New Temptations CD, one of the best Urban releases of the year, also Teena marie is back with an awesome set.

And try The new Sunbburst band CD as well, Joey negro back to his Roots (soul & Disco)

Recently bought the Prodigy(or rather, Liam Howlett)'s latest album, Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned.

I like it, but it's receiving very mixed reviews. Anyone lese heard it/got any opinions on it?

Definate 'grower' - hated it at first, but now think its ace. The first song 'Spitfire' is really rocky and the single 'Girls' is also good.

Lots of good samples too - plus one of the songs near the end is the song from the ad for BMW's 'One' campaign (with all the horses etc), which was a bonus cos I liked that ad.

Dunno about you, but it sounds more like the 'old' Prodigy than the last album...

Unfortunantly, I dont have those cable channels. I doubt they'll be played a lot on The Box, MTV Hits or TMF

I just dont have the whole package. And I dont pay for it anyway. But I think they should give u a bit of variety, not 5 channels with all the same kind of music.
