Ok so we all know PS will be looking to bolster our front line, my question is who is out there that will def score goals and that we will be able to afford?. Do we go for broke and pay that little bit extra (if we have it ) and get someone in that will produce the goods. It's a gamble I know but surely worth taking the risk. Otherwise I just dont see us getting the goals required to go up (automatically)

All other reasons aside, I just can't see it. Anyone who arrives is not exactly going to have half dozen games to settle into the squad, or regain their fitness. Only benifit of bringing a striker in, if it's not already too late, is to obtain one that will hit the ground running and find the net as quickly.

Vine to Gillingham. There goes another striker we could have signed. Also Burgess from Notts County to Cheltenham.

why look at harrison who is NOT a goal scorer what we need ! personally Benyon looks full of confidence lately altough he didnt score tuesday he looked okay second half and first half was decent, he was willing to work hard for the team and was man handled for pretty much the whole game !

People would have said the same thing about Barry Corr. Ten goals in 22 starts for Stevenage isn't that bad.

I saw Harrison for Stevenage last year and he's a bit of a unit from what I recall so if Sturrock wants to continue playing it long then it makes sense that we bring someone in who can play that role.

Benyon is a goalscorer. Harris is a goalscorer. What we need is a targetman to replace Dickinson. You can put any number of goalscorers into this side and we still won't score many goals if we're not creating anything.
