A Bit of Fun Loan Window Thread - 5pm deadline today!

Ok so we all know PS will be looking to bolster our front line, my question is who is out there that will def score goals and that we will be able to afford?. Do we go for broke and pay that little bit extra (if we have it ) and get someone in that will produce the goods. It's a gamble I know but surely worth taking the risk. Otherwise I just dont see us getting the goals required to go up (automatically)

The question is, are these goal scorers available and if so why? Add to that the question as to why a host of strikers have been brought into the club who are not up to the mark so does luggy have the eye for a striker? Some might cite Barry Corr as the business but to be honest I thought he was a one season wonder at best and his tally of goals belied his ability. Controversial, but thats how i see it. Personally I think Benyon has plenty of goals in him if a) we play to his strengths and b) we generally create chances as a team. We do not need an addition to the wage or squad when the rest of the team are not going to provide opportunities.

I wasn't there last night but from what I've seen of us recently it seems to me that we need either a midfielder who will create some chances or a striker who will create his own chances. Benyon is a good goalscorer but he needs service.

We need service to the forwards not more strikers. We've been lacking creativity in the centre of the park all season. No one with the vision to put forwards through.

I would give Flood a go. In the reserves last week he never stopped working and got his head on the ball and kept the opposing defence under pressure. He looks a bit raw but gets stuck in and it could make opportunities for Benyon to get in on goal. Worth a try, can't be much worse can it?

I agree to a certain extent but with us being a direct team (not hoof) we tend to by pass the midfield anyway so not sure that would really help matters, as for a goalscorer that can create his own chances is going to be something we cannot afford

New signings, would rather see Mathew paterson and bilel moshni back in the squad! I'd rather see this two on the bench then flood and Sampson! Totally agree that we need creativity in the midfield, seen moussa is on loan with chesterfield, he would've fitted in nicely!

Every game we loose is normally one where we have like 0 shots on target, last night we had 1 I think? Shooting practise needed as well as attacking movement training.

Doesn't really matter does it? If he's loaning players which are better on paper than what we have, their superior quality will be all but nullified when he tries to fit them into the **** tactics.
