but what a chance to see our true love Southend playing at one of the great stadiums.
!

Went there for the replay in 1979. Great experience, even the Kop chanted 'Southend' in the 2nd half as although beaten our heads did'nt drop and we kept going till the final whistle. Outside Anfield it was a different matter, as many of the local 'herberts' did their best to make the journey back to the coaches a nightmare. Loads of fans robbed and given a kicking whilst negotiating the outskirts of Stanley Park.

the perfect date. I think I will stay up in the north after the Accrington game for the monday

The boys deserve our support ! Our future first team players some of these

I went to an FA Youth Cup game between Arsenal and Cardiff at the Emirates a couple of years ago. The were only planning on having the lower tier on one of the long sides of the pitch open, but in the end had to extend that round to the far goal post at either side. It wouldn't suprise me if the attendence turns out to be more than what we had on Tueday night, ie >3500.

I hope the club do something top honour this achievment and bring the lads out on the pitch at a home game so they can get the applause they deserve. A truly great performance what ever happens at Anfield.
