Little Known Facts

When the tide goes out at Southend it goes out and not over to Kent. I'm almost embarassed to reveal my age before i realised this to be the case
 
Those road signs depicting falling rocks - one of the rocks is actually a hedgehog rolled up if you look carefully. The draughtsman who originally designed the sign put it in as a joke but no one noticed until it was too late.
