what is this doom and gloom without dicko .Did we lose at Burton without his services .NO Did we lose last night with him being carryed off NO .Now I know that Dicko is the target man but i beleve the fans moaned about the long ball game with him upfrount .Now maybe this might be the chance to play the ball along the grass .Because now the only long ball target man is an untryed player in Anton Flood .Goals have come though the team so maybe its not all over just yet .

Interesting times. Given the stick Dickinson takes on a regular basis, I'd have thought many fans won't be bothered. I think we've lost a good / key player there, and we'll need to change our style of play without him.
That said, lets not forget we have, in theory, the best striker in the league in Neil Harris. Time to play to his strengths and for him to step up to the mantle.

Watched the game again today, yes he may be missed but I watched Harris closely, his work rate was unquestionable and he was shouting out instructions all game, and I agree he has to step up to the mark and I think he will.

I totally agree. Unfortunatly our manager only wants or knows one way to play and thats hoof.

He's clearly the number 1 striker on Sturrocks team sheet each week but IMO this isn't bad. We have Harris, Sampson, Sturrock and Flood as the strikers I can see getting a game and also the possibility of playing Hall up top as well. Am I the only one who doesn't see this as big a problem as everyone else?

I am not Dicko's greatest fan but in some games he seems up for it and runs himself into the ground (e.g Gills away) & last night he gave the back 4 some problems when came on. He is out now though & we need to move on. Have to say that last night I was longing for some hoof ball at times when we wanted to play football in our own box. Think we have options up front still with Harris & Sturrock showing some real understanding when they played 45 together earlier in the season.

Best wishes to Dicko i hope he has a speedy recovery and returns to full fitness as soon as possible
he must be gutted to have to miss the final run in games on the sidelines

Best wishes to both Dickinson and Kalala for a full and speedy recovery.

NOW is the time for PS to re-assess his options. Both Harris and Benyon are proven goalscorers, but they need the ball played to their feet. Those behind them that aren't capable, shouldn't be in the side. We also have the likes of Hall and Martin, who are more than capable of providing decent service and scoring a few themselves.

Enough of this HOOFBALL, let's play some football and win Promotion in style!

Dicko's out for rest of season
