Liam Dickinson

I wouldn't sign him....One of the worst frontmen I've seen at SUFC IMO
Little harsh i think his goal return was decent plus he lead the line well and was good with the ball at his feet.If he is over his injury i think a lot of teams would take him at this level.

His antics in the hotel room were enough to add to my views concerning his moral compass. Nothing to do with scoring goals but I'd rather have heroes such as David Crown to admire ...............

........yes, I know - the moral high ground, those without sin cast the first stone etcetera - but that is how I feel and what can I do?

Off topic, saw David Crown tonight at the Rayleigh golf club .He looked fit enough to still play!

Really??? I can name plenty who were far worse than Dickinson. One of the main reasons why Crewe beat us in the playoffs that season was they didn't have to handle Dickinson who they didn't cope with in both the league games when we won both.

He was cracking. If he didn't get injured we would have got promoted.

We were actually in terrible form when he got injured and we only improved afterwards when we had to adapt our game.

We wouldnt have got 83 points if he was in the side, thats not a reflection of him but of the way we played with him in it. It worked well for the first half of the season but we ran out of ideas later on.

Spot on. Before that Crawley game we had won 6 from 19 games, afterwards we won 6 from 9 (not including play-offs). Although those 19 games included the FA Cup defeat to Oldham and the JPT defeat to Swindon, it still isn't great reading.
