Leonard is a class act. First team regular by end of this season either at RM or CM.

This is something I agree with. He is a very good player with a lot of off the ball movement.

Personally I would like to see him fighting for position with a more experienced midfield player, (still to be signed!) coming on as a sub regularly. He is a good player, and young, he is the type of player we should be developing, with the potential to move on to bigger things. I feel he is the type of player that will thrive on a specific role, and could become a specialst in a particular, we all know he as a pretty decent throw on him this shows he has the ability take something and improve on it.

I don't see Leonard being a regular in the side for the simple reason that he has been too injury prone so far ....... and I would hope that we (SUFC) would have cover for his position (which I believe is on the wing) and that the cover would be able to perform well enough for Leonard to have to sit on the bench for a while.

Having said all of that, it may be that Leonard is able to remain largely injury free. In which case, I see no problem with him being in the starting XI ............ providing that he complements the defender behind him and fits in the remainder of the other midfielders - but that would be the same for any player in that position.

The long throw can be an asset if used selectively but I fear at times it is over used leading to a one dimension "lob it into the box" approach.

If Leonard doesn't getting a starting place excluding injury (my biggest worry) he will need to get competitive first team football so he can develop his game and position IMO he reminds me of Steve Tilson????

Its just amazing this football thing we all love, I couldnt disagree more about the same player we have both seen plenty of times, I will give his positives of being quite disciplined in a positional sense and hard working other than that I just dont see it saw a bit of promise in the orient games though
Dont get me wrong I would love to see him develop into a real good player.
