I suppose if we gave him a one year contract with an option for us to renew for another year, that would be good as if he turned out to be a flop next season, we could just let him go in may 2009

Seeing as we are likely to have to pay 200k for him, I definitely would not want a 200k player just walking out on us after a year!

Even if he was a flop - you'd want to re-coup some money for him - ala Sheff Weds now.

Dont think Tilly will sign anybody this year before first thinking 'what would Sean O'Driscoll do?'. Whilst our humble boss could never hope to demonstrate the famed tactical acuity that once masterminded Bournemouth to consecutive mid-table finishes, I for one am delighted that Tilson has been so outspoken in his desire to learn the ways of 4-5-1 (cant believe no-one had ever thought of this before?!) from the 'special one'.
