Leeds fielded too many loan players ?

Just heard on 5 Live as I drove back from Hull , that leeds may have fielded 6 loan players against preston - the second time this season if true . they said 5 outfield players were deffo loanees, weren't sure about the goalie , Ankergren . Anyone know ?

Leeds were fined last time but could face a possible points deduction this time they thought

Good spot. I believe Casper Ankergren is indeed on loan at Leeds, he plays for Brondby.

Lets hope some action is taken, and the FA don't let them get away with a pittance of a fine. Could be the bit of luck we need!

They know how many loan players are allowed, hope they get punished for what is after all cheating.

Matt Heath is on loan from Leicester, Lubomir Michalik is from Bolton, Micheal Gray is from Bolton, Radiostin Kishishev is from Charlton, and Graham Stack is on loan from Reading, (although he was on the bench) so there is the six.

****ing great.

Dock points from the cheating *******s.

Once ok, let it slide, but twice in the same season, The FA must act and with the utmost severity!

Dont forget Jemal Johnson from Wolves, also on the bench.

According to the Five Live messageboards Ankergren has signed on a permanent deal?

The BBC transfer deadline day page shows Ankergren as joining on loan, but this could be inaccurate. Also, can loan players join permanently after the transfer deadline?

???

Also are we sure Heath is on loan as he is not mentioned anywhere else as being on loan?

He isnt mentioned anywhere on the Leicester City official site squad list (other loaned out players are listed).

Wikipedia says he joined them full-time in January.

So it boils down to whether Ankergren is on loan or not... Leeds fan on 606 says he's permanent, so I wouldnt get too many hopes up for points deductions

:(

last time they did this they just got a fine because they lost the game anyway. however this time they should be docked the points if found guilty the won against preston. has this defo been mentioned to the F.A or is it just speculation through the media/

I can't believe people are going on about this - Leeds point deductions aren't going to help us stay in this division.

I agree with that. Another moot point is if that some players were nominated as subs, but did not get on, have they as such taken part in the match?

...but Leeds are a 'big' club. If guilty they'll get fined £4.99 and told off.
Cameroon however played a World Cup qualifier in all-in-one kit (rather than shirts/shorts) and were fined £500,000 and docked 12 points!
