Question Lee Trundle

One of the best players i've seen over the hall in the last 10 years but your only as good as your last feww games and we shouldn't just sign him on his past . At his best he's unplayable at his worst hes a liablity who doesn't work hard enough for the team .

Can we affiord a luxury player is the question .

Id like to see him, but to be honest there's not a lot of point. I dont see playoffs as viable so why spend the money on him to help us in mid table.

If Toellandback is right and he cant raise his game for Leeds he aint going to be motivated to play for us.

I see your point but there seems to be a lot of players who don't settle at Leeds. They are a big club and we shouldn't under estimate Tilly's man management skills.

Remember he did a very good job with Goater and I believe Freedman also rates him as a manager or he wouldn't have come here. If Trundle thinks Tilly could get him another couple of seasons playing then he may go for it.

I think the big thing mate is desire, he hasn't shown any desire to play. He talked up coming to Leeds, playing in front of big crowds and was touting to stay full time. When he arrived sadly it looked like he could'nt be bothered.

Well you're in a much better position to judge him than the rest of us so will take your word for it............you dirty northern b............. only joking

One more thought. Our free kicks , corners etc have been woeful of late ( sorry Moooooose ) - has Trundle lost the touch with set pieces too or do Leeds use someone else ?

I would imagine the wages and fees etc would be pretty high, and I couldn't see him dropping to League One to play for Southend. Leeds and Leicester would probably be the only Clubs he'd consider coming to.

In his Swansea days I would have loved him at the Hall. Imagine him and Eastwood up top, but whenever I've seen him on TV for Bristol City or Leeds he just looks slow and overweight, not the same player that dazzled here during the 4-2 Eastwood game.

He was excellent when Swansea played us, him and Eastwood would have been quite an unbelievable strike force. Just doesn't look anything like the same player now.
