LDV Final.... who do we want there.

Skyblue

Manager
Given that whoever gets to the final will probably experience a drop in league form in the runup, who would we rather have the added distraction of another game. Although I would be very interested to see how many fans Col U could take to such a game I would prefere I think Swansea as i can see them being more of a threat in the run in. Besides the thought of 30,000 Swans in Cardiff makes the mind boggle as they hardly get on, and the relationship between the two clubs makes ours with Col U seem almost tranquil.

C'mon you Swans!

The sheep in Col******r must be sweating-up with the thought of next Tuesday's return leg on their minds. Col Ewe and Swansea - poor sheep.

The Jacks for me - Col Ewe's season already looks over, we need a helping hand in seeing off Swansea and the distraction of the LDV will do nicely

Make that at least 40,000 Swansea fans, can't see too many Cardiff fans causing trouble as they will be heavily outnumbered. They might go and support Carlisle though. Col******r if they somehow manage to win would take about 7,500 or is that too high an estimate?

Not sure how many Carlisle will take.

Don't really care, wanted the Swans before Saturday and now want them even more after Parkinson's comments after Saturday's game.

Swansea .... as they are bigger threat than Col Ewes.

Swansea will bring 40-45'000 with them as its not that far to travel, Carlisle will bring 18'000 there (they did bring 12'000 there in their last final in 2003, its was when they was rubbish) as they are doing well in the league.

The organisers have already got one half of the final they wanted (just). Macclesfield v Col Utd would have struggled to reach 5 figures.

That's the final i'd like to see.
If I were a northerner i'd support Macclesfield, great "little" club.

If Swansea reach the final will Cardiff fans support the Welsh side or the opposing Swansea side? ?

You will remember when we beat Col Ewe in the Semi-Final of the LDV two years ago Parkinson started bleating about the unfairness that his team were forced to play two games in three days (SHeff U on the Sunday and us on the Tuesday).

So will he now acknowledge how unfair it is on Swansea after they played Walsall yesterday that they have to play on Tuesday in the second-leg of the LDV against Col Ewe. I think not!

I would like there to be a massive pitch invasion on tuesday, causing a media outcry over the violence that will ensue.

the FA will then dock both team 12 points.

Swansea will argue that it was LDV and not league. The FA will argue it was a bad image for football and dock them a further 3 points for the flippancy.

TRundle will walk out and beg Tilly to join our merry band of winners.

Swansea will then appeal to the Welsh FA who will award them the League One title, the Welsh FA Cup, the European Champions' League, the Grand National, the Eurovision Song Contest, the Academy Award for Best Special Effects, a Gold Blue Peter Badge and Crufts' Best in Show.

Col Ewe's challenge for the automatics looks over, so I wouild rather Swansea got there...
