Breaking News Laurent injured

Double shocking. It also means Walker moves one place nearer the team.

Well it should be 2 to 3 weeks until Freedman and Barnard get injured again, so it should be alright...

Very very bad news indeed. I really thought his pace and skill could have been a useful weapon against Chelsea next week. Revell may have certain qualities but he wouldn't frighten top flight opposition.

yep, Laurent offers pace and guile which none of our other strikers do. Can see Tilly going in for a strker now, maybe Freddy will be back! ;o)

A real shame.

He was the one who mugged Cole on Saturday to earn us the throw which led to the goal.

A real talent this lad and his pace and trickery will be sorely missed for up to 6 weeks.

According to my wife (who is a physio) if he really has a fractured ankle he'll be out for about three months.

It's a hairline fracture, which is not as serious as a full on fracture. So hopefully he will be back by end of Feb time...

I also thought it was bad news to begin with.

But actually I'm quite pleased. At least now he can't mug Chelsea's team right off, then get sold the next day. He'll still be our player in 2 months time, that's the main thing.

Its a shame. He must be gutted to miss the Chelsea game. Would have liked to see him or Revell start on the right.
