Breaking News L2 Play-Off Dates Confirmed

The good news for me is that I have a wedding on the Saturday. Usually over the bank holiday weekend the League 2 game is on the Saturday, and I had already told my wife that she might have to go without me!
 
I'm off to Mecca on the 21st :sad:
oh well, I guess I can make a special prayer for us, should we reach the final.
 
Went to Cardiff for the 2 League trophy matches and saw us lose them both. Gave the playoff at Cardiff a miss as could not bear the thought of a 3rd defeat and missed one of our greatest days.
Went to Wembley for the League trophy only to witness yet another defeat.
I am able to go to Wembley in May and pray that at last I can witness Southend lifting the promotion cup, although we still have 6 games to go and then all being well 2 more to get there!
I also wonder if I am a jinx ha ha:smile:
 
Don't worry spoons I am sure there are many of us who have sat through all the defeats at Cardiff and Wembley, I know I did but I also made it to Cardiff for the play-off final and we won that!

I've seen some selfish comments but you'd really want to condemn the travelling supporters to a far flung Friday night away trip (and resulting in less fans supporting the club in a vital match) just to fit in with your personal TV viewing. Shame on you.

They're doing the play-off finals in reverse order this year, normally it's League 2 League 1 then Championship on the Monday isn't it?
 
Well me and Em get married on the Sun 25th, go away on the 27th ... and that leaves us at a loose end on the 26th ... !!

However, the semi's dont work too well, not loving the midday Sat KO as some of us have work and already busy on the Sat eve game so either way it works out, its gunna be a bit tricky!
 
Hmmm pass, i know its been changing about for a few years as its something me and Em were half looking at in regards to our wedding date ... Prefer them on the same weekend as it makes sense. I guess alot depends on when/where the BH Monday falls!
 
Not sure if I'll get to the final if we make it :sad: parents back from New Zealand visiting and the little one mean I might not get a pass out for the day. Will cross that bridge when it comes...
