I'm sick of reading about Flahavan's lack of height every three posts

I'm sick of reading that Tilson 'has lost the plot'

Haven't people learnt that you get nowhere by chopping and changing? 10 mangers in 10 years, 7 seasons in L2, countless mercenaries ******* the club dry, do you really want to go back to those days? The only way to get success to continuity and sorry to all the 'Tilson out' crew but you're talking out of your ***.

I'm sick of people advising the club to spend the £1.5million Freddy Money on "a proven goalscorer at this level".

So are you happy that Paynter/foran/Harrold etc will score the goals, cos I am far from even believing they will score, and can see us sinking quicker than the titanic!!!

well said guy's, for pete's sake give everyone a chance to settle in, we have the basis of a good squad and have a good management team, they obviously have their reasons fro putting bradbury out on loan.

I agree to an extent but we are in a massive losing streak at the moment and our poor defending , lack of goal scoring threat and toatl lack of beleif when we go behind is very worrying .

The fact that we lost our best player and have not got a replacement that can even lace his boots is also worrying , but i do have faith in Tilly but feel this is his biggest test since he has been in charge and the fans have rightly started to question some of his tatics/transfers etc like the fact that we praised him when we was on our great run for 2 seasons..............Thats football.

There are people on here who have knee-jerk as their double barrelled middle name, but I don't think you should be tarring everyone with the same brush.

People have raised doubt about the team, doubts which are not knee jerk, but are a continuation of last seasons failings, and they are perfectly entitled to do so. Of course, they hold much more credability when they back up there postings with reasonened debate and argument.

Perhaps the reason you keep reading about Matt Harold's lack of ability every three posts, is because there is more than just an ounce of truth in that hypothesis!!

Perhaps the reason some people are becoming disgruntled is because the team are on the crest of a 7 match losing run, which will be our worst sequence of results for a long time.

Perhaps the reason why some people are in despair is because we sold our main goal threat and have signed no one, or have no one in the current crop of players, who is capable of scoring the goals.

These three points alone are uinevitable going to be discussed at length on here, because it is an open forum covering all topics relating to Southend United, and as such, you have to accept that some people on here are going to go over the top, have over zealous points of veiw, post without the benefit of considered thought, or just have opinions which are wildly different to yours.

The simplest way to deal with that is self censorship - if you don't like it, then just don't read it, full stop.

I fully appreciate what you are saying, and I agree that sometimes you come on here, and it is like the end of the world is nigh, and sometimes I do rise to the bait, but it is better just ignoring it, or simply putting your point of view across in a reasoned fashion.... you can do nothing else!

I completely agree some of the criticism is completely undeserved but at the end of the day this is a fans forum that was set up to discuss and analyse the team. Despite all the unneeded criticism of Tilly and the team, in all honesty some of the comments that have been posted have been spot on in my book!

I've been saying Harrold is **** ever since I saw him play, I just don't see any redeeming quality in him as a footballer.

Got to agree with that. This is a message forum, a place to air your views and comments. Are you always going to agree with what you read? No of course not but thats the beauty of it.
I think the problem with some people is that they dont want to hear a bad word about the club, and anyone that dares to slate the manager and/or any players is "not a true fan". It doesnt make you any less of a supporter to say a bad word against your club. Like AS said, a lot of the comments posted lately really have been spot on.

Sorry, but this is a forum and as such people will have different views therefore if you do not like a "negative" post don't read it!

In addition this is no knee jerk reaction the club have lost their past six games. If we lose on Saterday it will be a club record. I do not agree that Tilson should be sacked but fully understand why people are questioning his decisions etc.

There were plenty of negative posts re. Harrold last year and there were negative posts concerning Tilson as far back as November last year. Also there have been numerous posts concerning Flahavan's hight etc going back years!!
