If you count the number of players in the photo, you can see that more signings must follow, not including Smith as Player coach, I make it only 20 players.

Why?

We can only use 14 players in a match. That's already at least 6 players (if not 9) who'll either be unhappy as they're not playing or are just happy picking up a pay packet for not playing.

When we get injuries we can loan in someone. Otherwise just use the kids.

To assist in focusing on faces only, here is a cropped version. Sorry Jack, you should have stood on a box!

PB to put them through a very strenuous physical training regime before we kick off - it paid tremendous dividends at the end of last season when other teams ran out of steam.

Good to see them using our local airport too.

So.......... Anyone actually know anything about Kieran Kennedy?

So.......... Anyone actually know anything about Kieran Kennedy?
His Man City player profile from 2013/14 says:
Centre-back Kieran Kennedy has spent the past decade at the Academy after originally joining at under-6 level. The 18-year-old began his career at Urmston Town and rates his best goal scored as one against neighbours Manchester United a couple of seasons back, a 20-yard stunner.
Kieran enjoyed his first England Under-19 call-up in January 2011, and has since made seven appearances for his country.
Kennedy had an injury hit 2012/13 season but will be hoping to kick on against in 2013/14.
Can also play right back and even in midfield according to the FA on his England under 19s profile.

A bit of news on Kennedy, he will play against Great Wakering next week (15th I believe) and he isn't actually in Spain at the moment.

No disrespect to Great Wakering but I'm not quite sure how much Brown and Coughlan are going to learn about Kennedy in such a match ........... still must be positive - it is better than nothing I suppose.

We said the same about Ryan Leonard in his first game at Wakering --- then he scored a 60 yarder.

It is probably one of those games where if he does well then he stays on trial and if he has a poor game he will be told "no thanks".
