Breaking News Kevin Maher Testimonial

I'd be massively surprised if this sold out. I know Kev has given us great service, but these non-competitive type games never get a bumper crowd. Unless they got a couple of decent squads together with some big names... maybe that's in plan!

Messi might be available to play as he has been left out of the Argentinian squad.

Seriously, if this is priced right, and the opposition has some quality in it we will need more than the East opened.

I think the only testimonial I've been to was Tilson's and that got a pretty big crowd if I recall. I remember sitting in the North Bank.

Like you say, it'll very much depend on the names - and perhaps also the feeling towards Maher at the time.

I suspect anyone not attending based on a potential week-to-week mood swing or Maher-vibe-check was probably never going in the first place.

I think people either get what Maher has done for this club and want to show respect for it, or they don’t.

Each to their own of course.

I DO however think the quality or potential showing of “characters” in the opposition will have the greatest impact on the number.

Personal health reasons will prevent me from attending ( which will be sorted late summer fingers x ) , otherwise i'd be there.
I'm more than happy to make a donation for the cost of my match day ticket to a fund if applicable?.
