Kevin Kyle

Sign him until the end of the season to keep us up, then release him because his wages will be high.

There is absolutely no way Kyle would guarantee us staying up. He is a donkey and unless we suddenly find a way to get balls to him in the box, he'll be a pointless signing

Yup, he'd be another wasted target man under Tilly.

The only reason Revell is a success (in my eyes) is his work outside the box. If we could get decent service into him, I'm sure he'd get 12-15 goals a season to go with his workrate.

He has struggled to be effective at a higher level for just about every club he has played for, but at League One level, I'd imagine he could be a handful - he notched twice against us in December didn't he?

The problem with us signing him, apart from the reported wage demands, would be we don't have a system in place, i.e. creative midfielders, or out and out wingers, which would be able to utilise his talents. We barely get any decent delivery from out wide, something a player like Kyle could thrive on, and our creativity through the centre of the park is almost non existent - he would end up being ineffective, through no fault of his own, and then be crucified by our knowledgeable fans.

Before we sign anyone, we surely have to concentrate on someone who can offer us some form of creativity, otherwise all the strikers in the world (and we have most of them here) will not score goals.

He's a thug in a football shirt. At all the clubs he's played for the supporters think he has a double barrelled surname as "that F***ing-Kyle" is the most commonly used expression for him. Stranraer, his home town, is about his level. Leave well alone, especially if you're in a kebab stall queue with him.
