I've just seen on Sky Sports News that Kevin Kyle has agreed to mutally terminated his contract with Coventry.

Certainly fits the bill as an experienced target man. 6ft 3", 5 goals in 15 for Hartlepool.

Seem to recall him causing us problems with Hartlepool earlier on in the season. Here is the link to the story on Coventry's website:

I seem to remember him being linked with us during the summer, but that was by the unrealiable transfer rumour site.

I think he'd be a good signing if we could get him in. He'd be suited to playing as the lone striker with the two players wide of him. His a big lump and very decent in the air, plus he will help with the set piece defending just look at Heskey at Villa vs Pompy yesterday.

I always thought he was a bit of a donkey, but I am surprised at how well he's done at Hartlepool. I doubt he'd come South though.

I used to work with a Coventry fan and he said that Kyle is hated by the crowd there and even banned his dad from going because of the abuse he used to take. Apparently he was even booed in the pre match warm up.

This fellow said he was a donkey and one of the worst players he had ever seen in a Coventry shirt. Must have been bad as he had supported them for 40 odd years and they certainly have had some s*ite represent them in that time, that is for sure.
