Kalala - please no more

Yesterday we were poor across the board and I would like to think this post is not a knee jerk reaction but the last month or so Kalala has been truly woeful.

Please to god can we have Granty back who can do the defensive roll as well as JP and might actually have an ounce of creativity in his body. I would love too see more of Sawyer but my spy's tell me he is on his way out.

Kalala offers nothing going forward at all and he is too weak to be an effective holding player. Totally at fault for the first goal with a feeble challenge.

I am praying Grant comes back for Tuesday.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I think I said in September that JPK was surplus to requirements and I haven't seen anything to change my mind. I am not a fan of so called holding players anyway, its often an excuse for not being able to pass the ball as people think you 'protect the back 4' when in fact they often dont protect anymore than anyone else and in fact put the defence under more pressure by giving the ball away constantly, Christophe was a great example of this.

The one silver lining from Saturday was that he is now suspended and Grant now has his chance.
