Luke makes some really nice stuff so excited too see this. Made a mini half-hour documentary on our struggles around a year back and has managed to get Justin on, so fire away any questions
hopefully a CD in the Barrett mould and a midfield general /take no prisoners type like McCormack was .thats just a beginning ,need an experience GK and a couple of wide men with pace to burn who know how to cross a ball and take an opponent on / run at the defenses.KM says he needs to bring a couple of players in.Can you confirm that there is money available for this.
Won’t get players like that at our level and with our budget, will be inconsistent experienced pros, kids on loan Ala pepple or punts on unproven non league finds.hopefully a CD in the Barrett mould and a midfield general /take no prisoners type like McCormack was .thats just a beginning ,need an experience GK and a couple of wide men with pace to burn who know how to cross a ball and take an opponent on / run at the defenses.
As far as loans go, if we stick to the John still theory of it's best to take players that have already been out on loan, or something similar, then that seems to hold up in practice. Pepple had been out to Grimsby and Bromley, played a total of 17 games and not scored a goal. Grimsby fans in particular didn't rate him at all, but like a fine wine, he seems to have matured with age and I'm glad we are reaping the benefits.
Had lunch with six Mariners on Saturday pre-Wimbledon and they all liked him. Didn’t get much of a look in there is all.As far as loans go, if we stick to the John still theory of it's best to take players that have already been out on loan, or something similar, then that seems to hold up in practice.
