Didn't notice it at the match but it was clear in the highlights how our defence reacted to the offside flag. The whole team stopped and started to turn back up the pitch.
What a joke.

If the lino flagged for offside for the pass that was deflected out for a throw (and he must of done, as only the left winger could of been offside), then he had to be active as he then took the throw on, so the flag should of stayed up! Two of our defenders stopped, switched off, and started walking up the pitch, Clohessey was one of these, and it was his man that the ball was thrown to and consequently he was in acres of space.
If the flag hadn't gone up, I am 100% certain that Clohessey would of covered the run, and the cross would not have come in, or at least the player would of been under pressure and not produced the same cross.
If the whistle doesn't blow I am 100% certain that you should keep playing football.
Welcome to the Zone, fella - for a newbie, you're refreshingly old! :)
Given the fact that it came from a throw in doesn't it mean that it couldnt have been offside? Stupid to react to the flag anyways, as Mcnaasty says, you always play to the whistle.
It was the pass that led to the throw that was flagged offside, not the throw on its self.
But then once the throw in was taken we should have played on.......?!!
