Just imagine those two decision in FA Cup-semi

The lino in front of the East, missed the ball going out for a throw in and the late tackle on McCormack because he wasn't watching the play at all. When the ball went out, he was looking along our back four for no reason at all and on the late tackle on McCormack he was talking to the 4th official.

He was a cheating little ****!

Cheating would mean that he deliberately gave the decision against the laws of the game, but as you say he missed them, that would err more towards incompetence than any deliberate action

Fair comment. Extremely incompetent is what he was. Its shocking that decisions like these, amongst others, could cost a lot of people their jobs in terms of not renueing their contracts and ending up on the football scrapheap but the people that make the mistakes are let off scott free. Does my head it.

In all honesty don't you think that players make more mistakes than match officials? I don't see a ref or linesman missing an easy chance or penalty, making a dodgy clearance, giving away a penalty or missing a crucial cross. IMO too many look to blame officials in the first instance rather than looking at the incompetence of players. I would suggest that players make more mistakes per match than the officials.

Having said that it's a pain in the **** when a palpably bad decision goes against you.

Very possibly true, but look how many dodgy decisions have gone against us this season i.e Defoe's offside goal in the Carling Cup, last minute penalty Vs Sheffield Wednesday, Sodje getting sent off at Norwich etc etc

Now if you take them away, have a look at our points total then. Granted we have to look at players mistakes this season as well i.e Gutts missed a sitter at Leicester, Eastwood rounding the keeper and hitting the post at Luton, Sodje knocking the ball down for Cureton Vs the Scum. But you can look at them as "unlucky" as opposed to "mistakes" whereas the officials decisions have been "mistakes" and thats what winds me up.

If you look at things like Poll showing 3 yellow cards to one player in the World Cup and not showing a 2nd yellow to Song for Charlton, if we made similiar mistakes at our own jobs which could lead to massive things happening then we would almost certainly lose our jobs.
