Thanks for donation. There has been a working group on this for few days and all in hand, involving Wembley safety team, printers etc. it’s well advanced. It’s certainly a tight turnaround though.

Without spoiling any surprises it’s more than one of these, hence the considerable fundraising target.

I get the sentiment but 1. It only means something to us, as did the palace one and you could barely make out what it was 2. The intimidating ones have much more effect and should help to instil a fighting mentality in the players

Depends what you're trying to achieve. It only needs to mean something to us. If you're trying to intimidate the opposition fans by showing them how cool we are then you're barking up the wrong tree, they wouldn’t care one way or the other, I certainly wouldn't. (I'd also argue opposition players won't be intimidated by anything we display.) If you're trying to inspire our team by showing them how much they mean to us the fans, then id argue you're wrong.

Some of the designs on here are fantastic, but none of them mean anywhere near as much as the photo of the kid cleaning the Roots Hall tunnel. If anything epitomises where this club has escaped from, it's that.

They've been working on it for a few days, may even already be made with cost underwritten by trust/club with the hope the fundraiser covers most of it.

I wondered whether it might already be in production and the club/Trust have paid upfront. So maybe this is a recouping funds exercise rather than a fundraiser as such. As I did too wonder how they could get this sorted in such a short space of time!
