Limited chances @ Barnsley and would probably welcome a move back down South (brought up in Loughton)

I have advocated him in the past on SZ Looked really good when playing at Col U. I'm sure he would be as good a replacement as we could get for Lenny and, being young, a cash investment might be worthwhile as he could be worth a lot more in 2 years' time.

Much rather have someone like him than another post 30 signing!!

I’m not an expert on Chris Baird.... it was a google search and a joke. His Wikipedia page does suggest that he’s played in a holding midfield role more so than in defence since about 2011 though.

Not necessarily, Stoke sacked Hughes and they signed someone yesterday without a new manager in place. And there is nothing to say it's a PB target and may just be someone they both like.
