Echo News 'It's like Christmas' - Shrimpers make full-time move to £1million training venue

I asked Tom at the Civic Centre meeting and from what he said it doesn’t appear to be the highest priority now probably due to resources needed elsewhere.
Thank you! Fair response in terms of priorities !

Although the cabins only have temporary planning permission - can't recall if it was for 3 or 5 years. Should be able to renew it but always run the risk of refusal. The proposed permanent building has planning permission so could be built anytime.

Sounds a bit like the 'temporary portacabins' at secondary schools that were there for 30 years 😄

Indeed. anyone know if the cabins have been placed where the permanent building is also planned to go? If so will make it even more awkward to construct the perm building in the future.

@Holy Joe Planning permission for the permanent buildings will have an 'expiry date'?
