I hope they win it if England don't. Would net 300+ if they do. They should reach the finals.****housery at it's awful best.
They just can't help themselves.
Hopefully they'll come unstuck at the next hurdle but have a horrible feeling the Argies will make the final now.
How poor was that Referee?
The number of yellow cards he end up giving was ridiculous.

ITV pundits continuing to drum up nonexistent controversy, this time claiming that a goalkeeper taking out a striker that's knocked the ball past him isn't a penalty because the keeper "was just trying to save it", half time was basically them shouting at Peter Walton (who was trying to explain why that doesn't matter) that he's wrong.
On the plus side when Ally McCoist and Lee Dixon came back on the commentary they said they didn't have a clue what the pundits were on about, sure Roy Keane will be delighted to know even his colleagues think he's an idiot.
That was embarrassing. If Nev, Keane, or Wrighty had burst into the area in their day, knocked the ball past the keeper, then got wiped out by him they would have been screaming for a pen all day. For the amount of £'s they're getting paid, they should know these things and not have to refer to an ex referee to tell them what's what.ITV pundits continuing to drum up nonexistent controversy, this time claiming that a goalkeeper taking out a striker that's knocked the ball past him isn't a penalty because the keeper "was just trying to save it", half time was basically them shouting at Peter Walton (who was trying to explain why that doesn't matter) that he's wrong.

One of the best things about watching the World Cup on Latvian television is that there is no commentary, just the crowd and other ambient sounds, which provides a great atmosphere. Mercifully spared from commentators imposing their views or stating the obvious and no 'pundits' filling the airwaves with their barely articulate inanities. It has been a pleasure to watch football free of the drivel of these overpaid buffoons.
No, because you don't get the crowd noise or the atmosphere plus players, refs comments when near a sound effects mic.Or as we call it in the U.K., the mute button

Sound has been exceptionally vivid in my experience and I have watched every game. Maybe Uk broadcasters tone it down for balance against commentators voices.Stadiums have been half empty, and aside from a strong South American following, I’ve found the atmospheres have looked and sounded rather flat tbh.
Shame, because a tournament of this prestige should never be viewed in front of such poor attendances.
