Isaac Hutchinson

See all of his goal today, first two were great finishes and 3rd was a simple header, best player on the pitch so commentator said.

Clearly becoming a seriously good player. Fair play to him for knuckling down and developing well. From his position if he gets 10+ goals this season which looks likely at this stage, a higher league club should come calling. Good on him 👏🏼

Indeed. When he was with us he was a bit lightweight, but he was only young and needed time to fill out. He was very skillful and you could see how good he was.

He was also in a crap environment. Good on him, I always thought he'd do well given the chance.

An example of a player we sold too early because of our financial situation.

If we can hang onto players for longer (like we did with Dan Bentley) we will get more for them.

Now part of that equation is making them want to be here. Again the financial situation plays a big part - being paid late, not getting pay rises, not being able to sign extensions, facilities crumbling - but at least we’re getting the playing side correct with coaches who nurture and make players feel wanted, along side playing good, winning football.

Weird how the haters of any player who leaves and better himself and proves doubters wrong, never come back and say how wrong they were.
I suspect busy slagging off the next person who signs, doesn't score 20 goals and goes onto better things.
Very happy for him. Clearly has talent, works hard and is dedicated to his profession and now making a living out of a sport he loves. For balance however, he is playing a division below the one he made the vast majority of his appearances for us, and that would have been the benchmark for peoples assessment of his performances. If there are or were 'haters' then clearly they've lost all perspective and should be ignored.

11 goals in total (all comps) Top scorer 😜😜

Top free kick v Wrexham. Shame the likes of Mantom were allowed to bully him off kicks when he was here.

Nice first touch and finish at Grimsby, then scored a nice pen and lovely cross for Walsalls 5th or 6th?

Pleased he is doing well......one day he may become good enough for us in the NL.
