I think it will be very difficult this season, unless we are right at the top for most of the season (somehow doubt that).

Doing more kids free tickets etc can't do any harm though...hopefully get some more fans for the future.

Given the much lauded luring of Danny Macklin from Essex CCC, I've seen absolutely nothing in the ensuing months to suggest that the commercial department have got their house in order - even the Greater Anglia debacle was only responded to reactively (somehow the Club had been miraculously negotiating with GA before West Ham announced their deal in all of the local press to much fanfare).
Not impressed at all.

Spot on, agree with every word

True.

. If we can average 1k away fans .

Unfortunately we wont. Even with the clubs you mentioned, Sheff Utd is a midweek game, and Swindon, Bristol Rovers, Peterboro's volume of support will all depend on their league position at the time we play them.
Even with the other mentioned clubs bringing more than 1,000, this wont average 1,000 added to the other clubs travelling numbers.

Swindon are also a Tuesday night game. Bristol Rovers is their second away game and as they've just come up I'd expect a fair few for an August weekend. Peterborough is at the start of October, so unless they have an awful start I'd imagine they'll bring a fair few.

Last season I believe South Lower was cheaper to compensate for the poor viewing quality ?

Would the club (and family members), consider moving across thus making the "West" a totally "in yer face area" to roar on the team - whilst filling up the South?

Controversial, but full of beer and just trying to fill our stadium on a regular basis

Last season tickets in the South Lower were given away free for about the last 8 games it helped boost our average a bit.
I think an Adult ticket in the South Lower is £18 even if it was £10 I doubt it would boost our crowds much.

Still no idea how the club expect to get 8,000 crowds no leaflets, no advertising, no special offers I guess Danny's hands are tied and as usual I bet every idea is curtailed form ones higher than him.
Most on here suggested the only way we could get 8,000 is if we have a good start, well that one is out the window as well.

So far only 4,300 home tickets sold for the Bristol Rovers game on Saturday. They will bring 500+ and we will sell a few more but probably only looking at a 5,750 crowd.
