If you walk beteen Leigh and Chalkwell along this path do you see more evidence of irresponsible cyclists or irresponsible dog owners?

Hmmm, tough call, probably quite even. However, the dog has a mind of it's own and is probably more responsible and aware than the owner and therefore doesn't normally cause any problems. Whereas the bicycle is fully controlled by the numpty that is riding it.

Good post Rich. As I said in my original post I have no problems with responsible cyclists. I am just sick of running the gauntlet of idiots at Benfleet Station every morning & night. It's only a matter of time before a very bad accident happens due to one of these irresponsible cretins hurtling through the underpass at high speed & crashing into an unsuspecting pedestrian.

Why don't we go down there and catch a few one by one in a giant net and dump them in the creek after leaving a calling card in their pocket 'You have just been ShrimperZoned.'

Borough High Street is a place rife with idiots with no regard to the law when riding their bikes.

The road is closed to traffic heading towards Elephant and Castle and everyone needs to be rerouted. Alas, I've now seen cyclists riding the wrong way down a single lane road and flipping the finger to people tooting them, oh and the old "I'm not riding my bike if I'm standing on a pedal and pushing my way along the pavement" tactic is played often, as said a few posts back, I ain't moving out of the way from them so I slow my stroll down completely.

Funniest one is when the Old Bill do their jump from a crevice and nick them and they get all defensive. Funny.

Shame it's always the minority who spoil it.
