So since we took the decision to move down the front of W Block, the lads are 3 unbeaten at home and seem to be playing much, much better.

Co-incidence?

Do you think the atmosphere as a whole has improved in recent weeks?

Has the move to the front helped spur the rest of the stadium on?

Or do you think there has been little improvement?

Please can we keep this constructive as well. No posts about the drumming is too loud and ****, **** off back to the back of the stand etc etc.

When we got a very early free-kick in a dangerous position, I was surprised the chant chosen to encourage the team was "is that all you bring away?"

yeh great support last night, even a little noise coming from the east stand, more of it for saturday would be great.

Excellent support last night Smiffy, well done TBV, however the 'positivity' of the support has more to do with improved on pitch perfomances not just the move down to the front of the stand IMO. Noise deffo carries further as well.

Good atmosphere last night as for the last few games. I think this has more to do with a bit of belief in the team and not the usual resignation of defeat when we dont play well or go a goal behind. For the first time in quite a while i thought we would win last night even when we were losing.

Oh, of course. It seem's there has been less negativity in recent week's. Maybe as the improved noise levels are helping to drown them out?

What I am trying to work out is, has the move to the front helped improve the overall atmosphere at RH?

Those in the East/South stands. Can you hear W Block more and has it helped to get some chanting going in your area?

Three reasons for the better atmosphere
1.The move down the front of the west stand.
2.The team doing well.
3.The Mosh.

It's definitely helped. Not sure it's any louder, but it's a lot more visible so it encourages others to get involved.

Reverse 1 and 2 and we are in agreement. The team can do my 1 without 2 and the fans can do 2 without 1 as proven at 1-0 down last night.

Didnt think it was as loud last night as it has been , but its better at the front.

Particularly like the east /south stand give us a wave

I sit in the East stand Reds and have noticed a considerable difference. There seems to be more of you than before. Perhaps thats because you was stuck at the back so that could be apperances. Definately louder though. The noise is carrying around the stadium and there is more noise now coming from the East as well. Hopefully the team can continue on the run and more fans can come back to support the team, creating even more noise :loyalsupporter:

Agree 100% atmosphere so much improved last couple of games, mind you having said that the atmosphere has improved greatly on here as well.

TBV moving to front seems to be helping as is willingness of other stands to join in. I cant help wondering if PS observations have proved to doubters that the crowd really can have an effect on the team, and thats for good or bad. Perhaps our lower crowds and better atmosphere mean the moaners and whingers have had enough and stayed at home ,trouble is of course we need their money. Oh well life a lot better at the moment for whatever reason and long may it continue.

its deffinately helped. it allows other stands to hear you better I think which gets them joining in. the past 2 home game we've had all 3 stands having a go a singing at the same time. so this is a massive improvement. flag down the before the game and the big flags to the left of the block looks good aswell. be great to fill that whole block with flags if it was possibly. that massive blue and yellow flag looks pretty good.

Yea true blue you was getting it going last night really well us towards the back were reacting to you facing us and trying to get the whole block singing.
I said to the bloke next to me you ought to get a megaphone like they do in italy/spain stand at the front and start the songs off! serious i think it would work.
Also a few more big flags would be good another 5 or 6 which could be waved before the game as the lads come out and raised when we score.
Would be good if the whole block were given a blue and white bar scarf which could be in return for some sort of joining fee to be a member of the blue voice.
Just a thought this way we could all wave the scarfs and flags together would be quite a sight.
Im up for anything to create a better athmosphere!!!!
