Bit surprised you didn't plump for Steven Clarke mate.

We all know how much you was in love with him, demonstrated to great effect at Mansfield all those years back!.

Clarkey was a legend but Forbesy was the nuts. How he never went on to play international football was a travesty.

Part of me says collymore for the obvious , but for some bizarr reason i would love to see ricky otto in our current team. All due respect to JCR but Otto made him look an extra from dream team. The guy was one of the luckiest footballers i have ever seen. He would run at three defenders take about five tackles and bobbles etc and then find himself infront of goal. I loved watching the dreadlocked god. If it wasnt for him sh@gging someones daughter he wouldnt have been sold.

(ps) He had gold teeth and robbed houses LOL What a guy..
I'll ask him in the interview if he wants to come back.
biggrin.gif
You tracked him down then?
Did Gary Poole ever play for Orient?
If so, ask Ricky what he thought of him.
I already have the answer to the opposite opinion!
Otto's one of the easiest people in the world to track down - he's a probation officer in the Midlands

Sorry it was 3 players .... just they all used to give us free away tickets when we turned up for the games.
In fact, forgot Neil Freeman he would hand out Rothmans or Dunhill ciggies.

UMBH the un-official travel club

Of players who have graced the field of play in recent years, I would be intrigued to see Mark Tinkler given another chance in centre of the park. He had a patchy start to his career at Southend before his obvious command began to filter to the surface just as it was decided by David Webb to release him in the dramatic cost-cutting exercise that marked the arrival of Martin Dawn and Delancey as overall commandants. This was a real shame; Tinkler was showing more than a few flashes of brilliance that may have saved a long-lingering malaise at Roots Hall. Or may not. We'll never know but it would be fascinating to find out.

No contest. 14 years ago, he dug us out of almost precisely the same situation as the one in which we currently find ourselves; and only someone of his consummate genius is likely to achieve the same sort of miracle that we require this time round.

Matt
Anyone got a snapshot of our league position before Stan arrived?

How bad was our position then before... I need some hope cling too....

as much as i like che i really do think the hammell is far better

Richard Cadette, Absolute buzz every time he got the ball, the anticipation of the crowd immense, and he delivered more often than not.

Similar with Stan, as soon as he got the ball you just knew something was going to happen...
