If southend ceased to exist

Likewise... I know a bit about prefoessional football clubs and how they run etc so more than willing to lend a hand

MB - are you the southend fan who works for oldham? I'm just wondering to what extent the FA/FL are likely to be aware of the situation at southend - 6 weeks to new season, 11 players, a transfer embargo and a chairman on a sexual assault charge. Or is any attempt to get them to intervene likely to make things worse - so many clubs got into trouble on their watch and maybe looking for a club to make an example of to make?

I do work for Oldham... very unfortunate considering where we got relegated last season!

In terms of the FA & the FL... Our situation will be of no concern to the FA. As for the FL until we go into admin istration I dont believe they would intervene. There are a few clubs with less than 11 registered players (Rochdale are one I believe) but none of them have an embargo in place. Will be interesting when we get to submitting our squad numbers for next season. Will be ineteresting to see if we actually fulfill our first friendly.
