I can't see why.

It's just a bit of fun.......like spot the ball.

I thought that was Desert Orchid?

i hate this kind of question.

We did on at college a few years back, and i said one of the Bee Gees.

Well you can all guess what happened 4 days later!

They didn't have a new number one did they?

That would have been gutting.

So far 2 down, 2 to go. C'mon get in.

i also correctly predicted the queen mother as well, but being as she was old that was easy money!

I think this year could see the end of Bobby Robson and Ringo Starr. Also one of the Rolling Stones, altho the crystal ball wont tell me which one

What you ghouls are talking about is a Dead/Death Pool. Was in one for 2007 until 3 of em expired late in 2006. My choices would be,

Margret Thatcher - looking ready to join Dennis very soon.

Henry Kissinger - Makes it to next Monday would be an achievment.

Michael Foot - Plymouth Argyle are looking good for losing their oldest fan.

Belated thanks to Gerald Ford, Charlie Drake and James Brown for giving me a royal buggering before this years pool started.

Thierry Henry - We can all dream!

You'd like to think that as tehy are lowering his coffin into the grave the vicar will be saying "earth to earth, ashes to...., then there will be a *peep, peep, peep* sound, and the vicar will say "I've started so I'll finish.... ashes, dust to dust"

I reckon Sir David Attenborough has been looking (and sounding) very shaky of late. I dread the day he goes, as who's going to fill his shoes, but the BBC has had a rough year of it and with Barker / Peel gone and so few of the old guard left, you know it'll happen sooner rather than later.

Hopefully I'm as accurate about this prediction though as I was about Spurs chances of a Champions league place this season...

so here's hoping it's W*nker Williams........

Good call on Williams, personally I think he's a pretty good performer (first saw him at Virgin '98 by mistake but it was an excellent show he put on) but a first class ****.

I think his inner demons make push him over the edge, he obviously lives as a tortured soul. There's a very thin line between sanity and insanity and from interviews I've read (Kaitlin Morans interview in the times a few years ago was excellent) Williams sails very close to the edge.
