Is this from the same source that informed you of all those pre-season signings? Remind us again how many names you gave us in the summer and how many of them signed

keep your knickers on mate! this board is perfect to talk about transfer gossip to see what fellow fans a like think of potential new signings. I don't pretend to be Steve Tilson telling you in advance we are signing (name) and he will be on (value) per week.

I merely tell you what I have seen and what I have been told. If i feel it is relevant and can be discussed on this board then I will add a topic or talk about it at the relevant time in another topic.

Yes, and who was the person who told you about mitchell cole signing up and knew we were in talks. Me. I remember talking to matt the shrimp about it at the time and didnt mention it on this board.

That is because i knew the deal was nearly scuppered at the time because of the money the agent wanted even though mitch was dead keen to sign.

So I won't come on here and say we are signing him when I know a deal is close because I don't want to alert any other clubs or tempt fate, or whatever other reasons. But, even though this is a free speaking message board we still get people like you ready to stick the knife in when i am simply keeping this message board alive with stories just like the next person.

Am I the only one who'd be a bit disappointed if we wasted the cash we do have on a striker like Fallon?

IF the rumour about Peter Thorne is true and we are looking at him as a potential target I'd be happy with that, granted he's 30+ but he has a proven goalscoring record and has a lot of Championship experience which would be invaluable. Freddy would also do well off him as he's extremely good in the air.

As for Parkin NO THANKS. Agogo is a no-go and Holt....well I'd love to see him sign but there's no way we'd splash £400k which is apparently what Rochdale want.

swanseas were going to go for him, but they are waiting to see if Trundle gets fit to move to Everton, otherwise i'm sure they'll be very happy keeping Trundle
